The Craft
Our agave grows for seven to eight years before it is harvested. The Extra Añejo uses only eight-year agave. A plant that old has had time to build its sugars, and you can taste it.
El Tenor is made with blue Weber agave from the Highlands of Jalisco, where altitude and cool nights let the plant mature slowly.
Every batch is made with a maestro tequilero who has spent more than 30 years in tequila. Arturo tastes each new batch with him, and they adjust it until it's right.
100% Blue Weber agave, water and yeast.

“As a young man discovering my voice, I won a mariachi singing competition. The prize was a bottle of tequila, but the true reward was a dream, to one day share the true beauty and spirit of Mexico with the world.
That dream carried me from Sonora to the world's greatest opera stages. Yet wherever music took me, I never forgot where I came from.
El Tenor is the realization of that dream, a tribute to Mexico's rich heritage, the artistry of exceptional tequila, and the unforgettable moments that bring us together.
